Online and in-person courses

Payment of a deposit, the first instalment on a payment plan or the full amount will secure your place on a course. Once a payment is received you will be sent full details of the information you will need - either for instant access to a course, how to join when it is presented live online or whatever is relevant for an in-person course. Full payment is due one month before the course begins.

Life happens. If you are unable to attend a course you have booked onto, the deposit, or full fee if you have paid it, is refundable until 30 days prior to the workshop, minus an admin charge of 10% or £50 - whichever is smaller. Thereafter, up until the day before the workshop, a 10% or £50 admin fee will apply - whichever is the larger. If on the day you do not make it to the course or leave during it, any refunds or transfers are at the discretion of the College of Body Science. All cancellation notices must be received in writing or email. Cancellation policies vary for Dissection Day classes (which are typically non-refundable unless we are able to resell your place). Please call for specific queries.

Alternatively, the deposit or full payment can be transferred to another course subject to availability. In most instances these will not be subject to an admin fee the first time, unless very late notice, though further transfers may incur an admin fee as above.

Should we have to cancel a course, you will receive a refund or credit note (whichever you prefer) for the full amount of fees paid. In the unlikely event of this occurring, we are very sorry, but we are not liable for any expenses incurred in preparing to attend the course. However, as much notice and consideration as possible will be given.

Should the price of courses change after you organise a transfer you will be given plenty of advanced warning to secure a course at the previously agreed price; if this is not done within one month of the notice we reserve the right to charge the new price.

The video for the online courses will remain available in the course pages on this service provider for at least a year from when you take it. If for any reason we stop using the website service to host our videos, you will be given alternative access to the recordings.

Additional terms and conditions for staged payments

If you book onto a series of courses and are paying up front or in staged payments, but then are unable to complete the series, you will be liable for what you have completed as if you had just done those classes.

We will refund any extra payments you have made, less a 10% or £50 admin fee - whichever is smaller.

If this occurred but you have not fully paid for a class you have taken for any reason, you will be additionally liable for that remaining balance at the course's usual cost.

You are not committed to particular course dates and if you reserve a place on one you are free to change it within one month of its start date with no extra charge. Depending on circumstances there may be a small administrative fee if you need to change last minute.

Enrolment terms

Your enrolment via the course fee is for yourself only. Please respect the work we have put into developing these courses over many years and use them only for your own learning. It is explicitly requested that you do not share content, especially videos, and if you do, while we may not have the time or funds to be able to bring proceedings against you, bear in mind the universal forces of reaping what you sow….
