Done CST2, SER1 or more?

Intrigued by the mouthwork but not totally confident with the anatomy?

Love perfecting the techniques... but missing a few niggly details?

If you relish the confidence that comes when you know you've nailed it...

Then it's time to get SUPERCLEAR on the:

  • HARD PALATE

the 3-d puzzle of how these bones fit together

  • FLOOR OF THE MOUTH

the muscles and soft tissues, including the tongue

  • THROAT

the tubes, fascia, glands, pharynx, larynx and how they all align

Why this matters

While we cover the anatomy in these Upledger CranioSacral Therapy classes (CST2 & SER1), if it's new (ish) to you it can feel like a lot - it's easy to feel like you're catching fragments but that there's not quite enough time to let it all sink in.

And now you've been practicing, you're OK with how you're treating, but not totally sure about exactly what or where everything is...

So let's re-cover what we teach in class, but with the time and space to truly absorb it: you can stop fretting about not knowing the muscles and attachments, fascial connections, and relevant neurology... we'll walk through it step by step. And, most importantly, we'll relate every detail back to how we treat.

If you've taken our courses before, you know what to expect: engaging, creative, and designed to make complex anatomy click.

We'll break things down so you understand the anatomical landscape - and then build it back up again so you appreciate the whole.

With access to the replays, detailed workbooks and the hands on application, it'll leave you feeling secure and accomplished in your 3-d understanding.

The result? A confidence that (grounded, blended and neutrally) oozes.

But the real winners? Each and every client!

What we'll cover

The anatomy of CST2 & SER1: the mouth & Avenue of Expression, including:

  • The bones of the upper face: nasals, zygoma and what they connect to that's so important for us

  • What creates the hard palate: maxillae, palatines, vomer and their articulations

  • Details about the muscles and ligaments of the hyoid and the interesting places they connect

  • What makes up the floor of the mouth (in addition to some of the above) and the muscles of the tongue

  • More on the inner parts of the Avenue of Expression like the trachea, larynx and nearby vessels and fascial planes

  • Anything else you've been wondering about but haven't had a chance to ask!

Imagine...

Your client relaxing, confident to experience the profoundness of mouthwork because...

  • You understand the anatomy so you know you can concentrate on listening and following the tissue

  • You went over the details at your own pace, filled in YOUR missing pieces and let yourself be supported

  • Your practice of the techniques is even more embedded, because we teach the anatomy with deep knowledge of real CST practice.

"Caroline’s teaching has revolutionised my practice, and the way I think about learning anatomy."

What students really say about our courses...

I’m utterly, utterly inspired and more curious than ever.

When I’m working now I’m genuinely thinking about what’s below my hands.

Personally, Im not hugely into anatomy, I’m into what I feel, trusting my gut and working, but I’ve realised, with CST, I need to think beyond that if I want my treatments to go to where I want them to go... and I do - that's why I’m here.

I have fallen in love with anatomy

I needed someone who could provide me with enough anatomy knowledge so I could feel confident in myself to be able to practice.

The magnificent journey of anatomy with Caroline has made me fall in love with the body again. I highly and strongly recommend it… I feel held from every angle.

Thank you

After the class I had a clearer image of what is inside. I let my hands feel what is there but then I tried to connect with the anatomy and I was feeling the different textures of the structures... so it’s really helpful even if I’m not holding all the names!

Thank you for such a brilliant class, I loved every minute of it...

...and was gratified to feel a bit more confident and less tongue-tied about identifying structures/organs.

You are so kind and skilful in your manner and the way you accommodate everyone’s needs/level of understanding and quality of insight. Lovely, lovely, lovely. I feel very privileged to have you as my teacher.

About

You see, I created the College of Body Science for people just like you...

I started out 25 years ago to help complementary therapists get a better grasp of the anatomy and physiology that they often find tricky to learn. And I'm still doing it!

I especially love relating the anatomy to what we are actually doing in practice - in this case the mouthwork and treatment of the Avenue of Expression. Such a powerful part of our CST approach. We'll focus 100% on that.

People often say lovely things like: "Her enthusiasm for the subject is infectious and her passion is compelling..."

The truth is I find it genuinely impossible not to be awed by the amazingness of our bodies, how we work and our capacity for healing and better function.

I'm confident that you'll find this anatomy illuminating, relevant and surprisingly fun!

Questions?

  • How long will this course be accessible if I buy it today?

As long as I am around…! (I have no plans to be anywhere else!) You'll be able to pop back in whenever you need a refresher!

  • Do I have to have already done CST2 and SER1 before I do this course?

No you don't. If you have done, then the areas we are talking about will make sense as you have already learned how we treat them. However, if you are planning on doing them and feel that you want to be better prepared, this will hugely support you in that. If you've done CST2 but not SER1 yet - this will help you for both.

  • Will this course review the techniques from the CST2 & SER1 classes?

Not really, no. While it will reference what we do, this will be in relation to the anatomy we're learning, not teaching the techniques themselves.

  • Can I pay by BACS instead of via this website?

Yes you can. If you already have the College of Body Science bank details go ahead - just let us know what its for! Or email us and we will send an invoice with the account details.

  • Do you have a question we haven't answered here?

Get in touch via email or calling the office. We're happy to help!

In short

Finesse the CST2 & SER1 anatomy.
