What's this about?

Supercool Mouthwork!

You all know I love the anatomy, and you also know I love this work (Upledger CranioSacral Therapy) - especially mouthwork. This two-day masterclass will make you feel super confident with what mouthwork can offer your clients - as well as show you some additional techniques and ways to access structures in the mouth that will really help enhance how you work.

You need to have done CST2 or more and be ready to go deeper into the mouth and jaw region than the standard curriculum takes us. We'll be revisiting and refining the techniques you already know from CST2 (and SER1) - because there's always more precision to find, right? - and then exploring how to reach structures and tissue layers that aren't covered elsewhere.

The anatomy of this area is rich and complex and once you know a bit more about everything that's actually in there and how to reach it, the whole region opens up in a way that will change what you're able to offer your clients.

What We'll Cover Specifically

Within the fruitful format of: theory --> demo --> practical, both treating and receiving, we will explore different areas including, but not limited to (!):

Evaluating and treating the Temporomandibular Joint from the inside of the mouth.

How to work with the Medial and Lateral Pterygoids: muscles with quite a lot to answer for in relation to jaw pain, clicking and headaches, and one that most practitioners have never been specifically taught to find and work with.

Understanding how the rhythm reflects through the Palatines and Zygoma and how this can help guide our sessions.

Unique ways to work with the Soft Palate and what becomes possible when you understand the tissue layers properly.

Working with the Fascia of Nerves and Vessels in the accessible areas - the kind of detail that makes your palpation more accurate and your following more specific (and fun!).
