Bespoke Courses
- Do you run another training school?
- Are you a teacher with a group of keen students?
- Are you a keen student with a group of colleagues wanting to find out more about a particular topic?
- Do you teach a specific therapeutic approach and have been wanting to include the A&P but would love someone else to do it?
We are often asked if we can put on a course to cover a specific aspect of Body Science. Often these involve arranging a day in the dissection lab to look at a specific area or the more detailed anatomy or physiology of an area. We are happy to do this and have a variety of options we can consider.
Recent examples include:
A 2 day RECAP weekend for a local group of Bowen practitioners needing some CPD- A day in the dissection lab looking at the digestive system, organised for colonic hydrotherapists
- A day in the dissection lab exploring the shoulder as part of 'Inside the Shoulder'
- A day in the dissection lab looking at the abdominal and pelvic organs for students of Mayan Abdominal Massage techniques
- A day and a half on the detailed anatomy of the female pelvis for practitioners of massage in pregnancy, trained by Wellmother
- A cranial anatomy study day in the dissection lab organised by a craniosacral therapy student for her and her colleagues about to do exams! (They all passed!)
- We took our RECAP course to Cornwall, our meridians course to Newmarket and an A&P introductory course to Bristol!
- I also took some students round the BODIES exhibition (I know its no longer here but it was great while it was…!) Another great visit is the Royal College of Surgeons Museum, also known as the Hunterian Museum.
- We have also given short talks, workshops at Expo's, occasionally put on open tutorials and got together in small groups to watch medically interesting DVDs & TV programmes! (not medical dramas - though we quite like them too!)
How we could make the A&P easy work for you and yours?
Personal Tutorials
Struggling with an aspect of anatomy?
Want your own personal crash course in an aspect of physiology?- Have a group of colleagues or students who'd all like the same pieces of information?
- Want to revise before an exam?
- Teaching, but need to know a bit more in an area or two?
- Missed some courses and have never got to grips with an aspect of the Body Science you now need?
For whatever reason, sometimes we just want a bit of extra help, inspiration and personal one-on-one time with someone who can lead us through the jungle of scientific jargon!
We are available for one on one or small group tutorials to discuss a topic of your choice.
We do not charge the earth! From only £35 an hour you have personal time devoted to your learning, going at your won speed and covering what you want to know about.
EVEN BETTER… Rates are cheaper for more hours AND this cost is the same for up to 4 people at once so come with friends to make it cheaper still!
